Founded by Mr. M. Yousuf Shah in 1995 with 22 years of past expertise, Shah Rug International is an amazing world of handmade home decor in itself where traditional aesthetics meets modern inspirations. Since its incorporation in 1995, it has grown as one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of Kashmir handicrafts. Shah Rug International has been providing its selfless service by 2nd generations now, with a vision of creating handicraft products with uncompromising quality, optimum standard, and glorious historic essence. Shah Rug International is currently exporting to countries like the USA, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Australia. Its priority is to fulfill the need, requirement, and satisfaction of its customers with utmost sincerity and dedication.

The workshop of Shah Rug International is located in the downtown area of Srinagar which is center of all cottage arts & crafts of Kashmir being Chain-Stitch & Crewel Embroidery, Paper Machie, Shawl Embroidery, Wood Carving, Silk carpets and Namdha. The workshop of 7,600 square foot manages nearly 650 cottage artisans and has in-house facilities of CAD developments, fabric tracing, Samplings, Sewing unit and a trained persons quality inspectors. Shah Rug International is focused to eliminate middle- men and pass right wages to rural artisans who are mostly women’s empowered by these skills. The workshop of Shah Rug International is Sedex complaint audited and certified by Intertek.
